Near the 52-week low, and the news is turning in the stock's favour

Avoid: falling knives

Near the low, and the news is still negative

Hold: momentum

Every story Finad reads shows up here as it is processed. It checks each one for the companies it names and the tone of each mention, detects world drivers, has the local AI read it, then scores stocks, raises alerts and updates your phone.

Activity

An alert is raised when a stock newly turns SELL or BUY, when its conviction jumps, or when a stock you hold turns against you. Alerts appear as Windows notifications and on your phone.

Each dot is a stock. Left to right: where it trades in its 52-week range. Bottom to top: how today's news affects it. Bigger dots have more stories.

All stocks

The world and macro themes active in the last few days, and which stocks each one helps or hurts.

Add what you hold and the stocks you're interested in. Finad reads company news for each of them, puts your holdings first in the signal lists, and alerts you when one turns against you.

Any Yahoo Finance symbol. Tags link it to world drivers; for example, airline means it's hurt when oil rises. The 190 large US stocks Finad already follows don't need adding.

How the phone link works

After each update, Finad writes a compact feed to textdb.dev, a free public JSON store with no account: the signals, your holdings' signals, alerts, world drivers and the latest market-moving headlines. It writes under a secret key that only this computer knows. The phone gets a read-only link to that feed, so it can read but never change it. The app checks the feed in the background about every 15 minutes and notifies you of new alerts. Anyone who has the read-only link can read the feed, so keep the QR code to yourself. Your share counts and costs are never sent.

About

Finad runs on this computer. It reads public RSS feeds and Yahoo Finance prices; with Ollama installed, a local model also reads the headlines. Your holdings stay here. Only the phone feed described under Phone leaves the computer, and only when you link a phone.
